contd :- -2- made to overcome them as is made on the chassis. As regards the mechanical strength of the body and fittings, and also fittings used on - windscreen, door, windows etc., we ought at least to be as good judges as the coachbuilders and therefore our criticisms should be helpful. In the case of the windscreen, we can see no reason why there should not be one best type of windscreen fixing; once this was decided upon, no other type should be used. The same applies to numerous other fittings. The 20 HP. car 10-G-111 will be staying in France for two or three weeks. When it returns it could be sent to London. Our criticisms are not so much 10-G-111 as general criticism that we tolerate faults on the coachwork which we should never accept on the chassis. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
