81 Fulham Road, London, S.W.3. Ref: KRL/14 22nd December 1921. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., 14-15 Conduit Street, London W.1. Dear Sirs, We are much obliged for your letter of the 20th inst., and note your request with regard to the matter of tyre pressures. We are enclosing copy of our most recent Inflation Table, and this we think will meet your requirements in every way. You will see that we go down as low as an axle weight of 20 cwts., for the 135 section tyre, a weight which we believe will be quite low enough for your purpose, and that the pressure for such a load starts at 45 lbs per square inch. In reading the table which we send you we would like it to be understood that the pressures given therein are the minimum for the respective loads. We hope the matter will now be quite clear to you. Yours faithfully, (SGD) Michelin Tyre Co Ltd., ENC: | ||
