We are in receipt of your letter of the 24th inst. regarding tin gaiters for leaf springs, and regret to inform you that we do not make this class of gaiter, nor do we know of anyone who does. We are sorry, therefore, we are not able to be of assistance to you in this connection. With reference to your last paragraph regarding the reinforced interleaving, we wish to say that this was despatched to you on Monday last, together with the sample Spring, per L.M.S. passenger train, and these should be in your possession by now.
