Sidgreaves - MD} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.4.2.37. PRELIMINARY REPORT ON 35-EX. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/IMW{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}/I/JAB. ** The most interesting feature in the report is the commendation given to the steering. Sr. also thinks that the Wraith wheel movement levers are a great improvement. We have always considered that the steering was one of the worst features of the P.III, but this may not have caused adverse comment in customers' hands. There is the question of the levers running on 35-EX being unnecessarily heavy and requiring new dies before they can go on production. At the next Conference we should like to discuss how soon we can get this improvement to the customer. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} * Copy of this report was sent you this morning. | ||
