X1918 e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn2/H25.2.24. re. 20-HP. K.L.G. Ignition Plugs. With further reference to the above, we attach hereto letter received from the Robinhood Engineering Co. with regard to the visit of their Mr. Lee Guinness and Mr. Van Raalte ( copies attached for BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) we shall be glad if you will please deal with this. The number of K.L.G. plugs in the Test Dept. is 380. Of course, the majority of these have been run on test. Presumably the free of charge replacement referred to covers these plugs as well as the entirely new plugs, the numbers of which you will no doubt ascertain from the Works and the Stores. We shall be glad if you will arrange for the first supplies of the new plugs to be handed to us for cars on test. Handwritten annotation: The above total of 380 will of course vary day by day according to the number of chassis despatched. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. E.P. | ||
