(3) With regard to the high tension distributor points on the 20 HP. when running magneto. We consider the standard required for A.I.D. inspection and same are considered satisfactory.

(4) With regard to 20 HP. dynamo brushes, our Stores records show that over 100 of each type have been booked out in approximately 6 months, and these have been sent to outside customers which includes Depots, Agents and Private Owners, and it does not include those fitted in Mr. Brock's Dept. during repairs.

We would say we find new brushes are generally necessary after a dynamo has been out for some time, chiefly on account of wear but also on account of the edges being chipped. Reduction in length due to wear accounts for the greatest number.
