For the attention of Mr.C.W.Nichols.

Dear Sir,

We wonder if it is possible for you to incorporate some form of damping on the needle of the petrol gauge meter you supply us with. We have before us a sample of Lucas ammeters which have a very neat form of damping incorporated and we thought it might be possible for you to come to some arrangement with them whereby you could incorporate the same form of damping on the petrol gauge meter. Will you kindly arrange to look into this matter and let us have your views accordingly as we have received a certain amount of criticism of the vibration of these needles on the chassis.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
