Iron Castings Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} has been making some enquiries for us regarding the price we should have to pay to outside suppliers for major castings in Iron. The figures he quotes are :- 56/- to 60/- per cwt as cast for Crankcase & Cylinder Block combined, 30/- to 36/- per cwt as cast for the Gear Box.
