Many thanks for your memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW.31.I.35, the contents of which I find very interesting.

As soon as possible, I will endeavour to give you the information you require, but I do not anticipate being able to do so until our Bentley demonstrator has covered 30,000 miles, or so. The only car we have at present is B 5 AE, but, as you know, this car has been so well attended to that one could not expect a bad oil consumption !
