-2- EFC/ADL 2.12.30 contd. whereas at present it is taken to contacts on the right-hand switch. The main field connection is taken to contacts on both right and left-hand switches. It will be seen that this arrangement provides the one-way interconnection in that it is possible to have M & B and half charge or M & B and full charge without any lights being on and also that it is possible to have half charge and full charge when only the side and tail lamps are on. It is not, however, possible to have only half dynamo output when the head lamps are on and further it is impossible not to have full output even when the right-hand switch is in the first position M & B. The fact that as explained in our previous report, the dynamo output setting would have to be slightly less than it can be at present would probably be of little consequence in view of the fact that full charge is available when required.
