Van Vooren Body on B.23-AE.
Your Ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}19/KW.16.7.36.

In view of what you write in the second paragraph of your memo, it looks as if it will be some little time before you can send this car to London because the body with improved entrance is not very far advanced and will be some time yet.

When you eventually can spare B.23-AE, we suggest it should go to Lillie Hall and not to Park Ward's works, in view of the fact that you want its absence from your end to be as short as possible.

Park Ward will not permit other coach-builders to go to their works to see the car so we shall have to fix up for the inspections to take place at Lillie Hall where Park Ward can see it too.

To send it to Park Ward and then take it on to Lillie Hall for the remaining coach-builders to view it there would, it seems to us, be a waste of time.
