Mr Barrington for T.C. 118/9 May 4th 1912. REPORT ON three sixteenth COTTON FABRIC CLUTCH. X 35C One of these cones has been put through the same test on dynamometer as the 1/4" material, ie picking up full load on first gear, and slipped until a temperature of 150 degrees Centigrade was reached. The condition of the fabric after this test was excellent. On the road same has run 40 miles and up to now is quite as good as the 1/4". I recommend this should be used on old type cars to replace the leather. The material frays at the edges and the rivets are not sufficiently countersunk, material | ||
