JHW/EH.103913, and the print No.27-3273. We note your suggestion for increased protection and will consider this for adaption to future pieces. As we have a large number of stub axles already machined we cannot adopt the grease groove for the time being. The drawing we were asking for over the telephone was as shown on our print GW.1979 enclosed. The difference between this and your 43-579.E. is the increased overall length, 0.845 instead of 20m.m., and the increased diameter of the shoulder, 1.537 instead of 37 m.m. If our experimental tests on the 16 bearings you are now supplying are satisfactory, the bearing we shall want you to supply for production purposes will be to GW.1979. Will you please send us a quotation for this in quantities of 400. We thank you for sending us the experimental bearings so quickly. Referring to your earlier letter of 25th.
