VALVE SPRINGS (15,000 MILES TEST).

Will you please give a report on the three broken valve springs we attach with this memo.

The particulars of them are that they failed under 500 miles whilst on the 15,000 test on 8.B.V. and are to EB.3256 being produced by the Tempered Spring Co.

We are particularly anxious to know whether there is any obvious reason for the failure in view of a seam found in a similar spring of a customer's Wraith WXA.9.
