RE: PROPELLOR SHAFT DAMPERS
4 1/4 litre Bentley.
---------------------

We were recently reviewing the position with regard to fitting retrospectively a propellor shaft dampers and ascertained that although K.{Mr Kilner} has a good supply they have only had occasion to fit half-a-dozen during the last six or eight weeks.

Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} informs us that only 11 of the earlier 4 1/4 litre Bentley cars remain without the modification and in view of this it is suggested that we should cease to make the modification except in cases of complaint.

We think and Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} agrees, that any owner of an early 4 1/4 who has not yet complained, may be considered pretty happy, but C. does not want to drop the modification unless you are also in agreement.

Will you kindly let us know?
