My dear Grylls,

Many thanks for your letter of the 15th. The clutch has certainly behaved considerably better since you fitted the new type lining - The car has been driven very hard for 4,000 miles all over the Continent since I last saw you and there is definitely not so much judder as previously - However, I still think it is not quite as perfect as it should be.

Actually I left my car at your Works yesterday for attention to the brakes and other things - I made a list of all the points and if you have time it would be nice if you could go through this as the brakes have behaved not too well on my last Continental trip.

When I come over to collect the car I should like to have a word with you.

All the best,

Yours ever,

Raymond Mays.
