X.2064. RE USE OF INSTRUMENTS. X975
You are receiving :-
(a) Index to Calibrations of Instruments.
(b) Calibrations for Instruments 22407, 22596, 42, 92, 40, 98.
(c) Table of particulars of the above instruments.
The index will be subject to possible additions from time to time in which case new sheets will be issued to you for replacement.
The calibrations will, of course, be subject to alterations and additions from time to time, in which case also new sheets will be supplied as replacements, when the old sheets should be scrapped.
The above also applies in some degree to the particulars of the instruments.
It is to be understood that the calibrations are given always on the supposition that there are no zero errors, so that in taking any reading, a zero error must first be allowed for before the correction is made.
In making use of instruments 22596 and 22407 with the ampere shunts, short leads of the lowest possible resistance are assumed to be used.
