PEREGRINE CARBURETTER.

Attached is a report on the first runs we have had on the Peregrine carburetter. On the whole it is very promising. We appreciate that we may have to be prepared to sacrifice a little top H.P. in return for better low speed pulling, but think that we should maintain power equal to the S.U. up to 4000 r.p.m.

We also appreciate that owing to the position of the steering box and sparking plugs, the space available for the carburetter was limited, but we think that serious efforts should be made to increase the size of the carburetter even if the steering box has to be moved. Actually the principle of the carburetter is such that we ought to have no difficulty in working at a lower depression than the S.U. if we can only find room for the required dimensions.
