RR 238 (300 Bks.) (SF 152. 6-11-18.) MP 197880 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No Customer's No. 3 instead of 90°. This produced a rubbing action which could be distinctly seen on moving the distributor slowly. After running for about 50 hours there was bad misfiring at the spark gaps. The run was continued for 150 hours during which time misfiring and contact sparking became worse. During the run, the make-ratio of the Contacts had altered from the standard .5 to .83. This was probably due to the transfer of metal which had taken place as in previous tests of tungsten points. (Cont'd) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
