Referring to the above, a scheme LeC.1267 has been made at Wittering shewing a suggestion for a float level gauge made in the form of a unit carrying a float on an armwith multi-plying bevel gear for giving a reading three-wuarters of a revoluton on a circular dial. This drawing also shews a simple arrangement for the reserve supply valve in which a vergical needle is depressed by a screw plunger having a bellows tube gland. LeC.1267 was taken to London personally by Mr. Royce on the 4th instant, and it was his intention to hand it to a Derby official for transmission to you. This scheme is described in Mr. Royce's memo R1/G31.7.20 which has been posted to you to-day. We have received your schemes at Wittering in connection with this same job, and shall send them on to Mr. Royce. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
