The Director of Army Contracts,
Caxton House West,
Tothill Street,
Westminster, S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} A.{Mr Adams} Prendergast.

Dear Sir,

Rolls-Royce 20/25 H.P. Tank Engines.

With reference to conversation with the undersigned this morning, we desire to confirm that we left with you today a blueprint showing the position which was occupied by the filter unit in the ignition circuit as finally passed as satisfactory on the tank at our works.

We would further state that it seems, as the result of our tests, that the position shown is the only one in which the filter unit will satisfactorily fulfil the purpose for which it is intended.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE, LIMITED.

L. V.{VIENNA} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Fell
(Lieutenant-Colonel)
