2-S-I.

Engine.
Throttle springs too heavy, unequally set.
2 controls (mixture) foul carburetters.
Petrol pump requires large dia. washer under bolt heads under rubber.
Timing gears sing (may improve).

Radiator.
Shutters not fully opening. N.S. loose, not operating.

Clutch.
Trunnion dry noise (silent at times.
Clutch inclined to grab and jagger.

Gearbox.
Change speed too heavy and lumpy.
Side shaft improving, gears good.

Steering.
Reactions worse than S-III.

Rear Axle.
Bad. 30 m.p.h. and when brakes are applied.

Brakes.
Good with exception of offside front which is too effective after being burnt. (requires relining).

Oil Pump.
Stronger spring required in low pressure release.
