LBS 450 Steering Pivot Lubrication - Bentley III. For Wraith II we sent you a scheme showing a banjo connection for the centralised chassis lubrication pipe to the base of the steering pivot. On N.Sch.5009 herewith we send you a similar scheme for the Bentley III. In order to find room for the banjo connection it has been necessary to reduce the thickness of the cap at the base of the pivot by .10" and to alter the shape of the recess pressed into the brake carrier plate. The brake carrier plate is that for Girling brakes and a similar modification will be required to the carrier plate for R.R. brakes but this latter will be dealt with when we make a scheme for the R.R. brake operation.
