X6135 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/AD. April 7th, 1932. Messrs. S. Smith & Sons, Ltd. Cricklewood Works, London, N.W.2. Dear Sirs, Smith Instruments on R.R. Chassis. On the original two sample instrument patches sent to us some time ago, you supplied us with two cheap pattern Lucas ammeters and you apologised for these in your letter. These were fitted owing to the fact that the new type ammeters were not available at the time. We should be pleased to know if you will, now that the correct ammeters are available, replace these for us with the type of instrument now being made up for us for our 20/25 chassis. Upon hearing from you we will arrange to return the other two ammeters to you for replacement. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
