We have received your letter of the 6th instant, from which we note that you are requiring two sample hose connections part number ECD.1438, but do not wish to go to the expense of moulds. Unfortunately we are unable to produce these parts without the use of a steel shaper at a cost of 5/6d as we have previously been unsuccessful in endeavouring to manufacture radiator hose connections from wooden mandrels. We could, therefore, supply these parts at a price of 5/-d the lot plus the tool charge mentioned above and we hope that you will not find this charge too expensive.
