Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 25th inst., we would be glad if you would cancel our order for two instruments to D.75213 and DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}158 - we shall run further tests on the thermometer which we have at present, but in view of the extra expense we shall not standardise it until we have established that it has some definite merit over our rubber insulated scheme.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
