The driver to the Prince of Wales reports that, when he was driving the Prince on his Rolls-Royce at about 70 miles an hour, the bonnet came off and flew completely over the top of the car.

The driver says that the clips were properly fastened.

Is it possible that such a thing could occur if the clips were properly fastened?

Is there any means of testing this matter? CJ.
