Herewith I send you copy of a letter from the Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd. dated 20th.inst. indicating the position as regards supplies of the above mentioned tyres. I also attach copy of a letter from the Dunlop Rim and Wheel Co.Ltd. dated 22nd.inst. indicating the position with regard to supply of wire wheels with straight-sided rim and detachable flange for such tyres. You will note that the Dunlop Rubber Co+Ltd. expect to be in a position to supply straight-sided wired-on tyres at as early a date as the Dunlop Rim & Wheel Co.Ltd. are in a position to supply Wire Wheels with rims suitable for such tyres and as the Dunlop Rim and Wheel Co. mention 2 months hence as being a more or less safe date to fix for delivery of such wire wheels, I think we may safely make arrangements to bring this type of tyre and wheel into use about the end of November, but I shall be glad to have your views.
