STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Date 28.9.29.
Description of Parts. FRONT BRAKE DRUM DAMPER.
Origin. To reduce squeaking brakes.
Experimental Test Report.
We find that we get better results with the new brake lining if we use the damping springs only on the drums, retained by light clips.
Road Test Report.
Run on 19, 20, 21 & 22-EX. and tried on a number of test cars.
