Attention: Mr. A.{Mr Adams} W. Pound, Purchasing Agent

Gentlemen:

With respect to your communication of November 16, 1937, we have mailed three belts for Rolls-Royce Ltd. to Drawing EB-221.

The actual measurements of the belt on Drawing EB-221 are:

43.1" outside circumference
40.4" inside circumference
.637" top width
.425" bottom width
28° angle

The belt which we are supplying comes from our mold No. 30715, with the following measurements:

43.0" outside circumference
40.5" inside circumference
.656" top width
.406" bottom width
32° angle

Obviously the variations are so slight that our technicians unequivocally assure us that our belt will be satisfactory.

Against blue print EXS-194, we are unable to supply a satisfactory belt unless Rolls-Royce Ltd. change their pulley. The exact dimensions of the belt on Drawing EXS-194 are as follows:

42.64" outside circumference
39.1" inside circumference
15/16" top width
9/16" thickness
30° angle

The nearest size we can offer is our Mold 27123, with measurements as follows:
