Pound, Purchasing Agent Gentlemen: With respect to your communication of November 16, 1937, we have mailed three belts for Rolls-Royce Ltd. to Drawing EB-221. The actual measurements of the belt on Drawing EB-221 are: 43.1" outside circumference 40.4" inside circumference .637" top width .425" bottom width 28° angle The belt which we are supplying comes from our mold No. 30715, with the following measurements: 43.0" outside circumference 40.5" inside circumference .656" top width .406" bottom width 32° angle Obviously the variations are so slight that our technicians unequivocally assure us that our belt will be satisfactory. Against blue print EXS-194, we are unable to supply a satisfactory belt unless Rolls-Royce Ltd. change their pulley. The exact dimensions of the belt on Drawing EXS-194 are as follows: 42.64" outside circumference 39.1" inside circumference 15/16" top width 9/16" thickness 30° angle The nearest size we can offer is our Mold 27123, with measurements as follows: | ||
