Valve Tests.

(1) 20/25 v.{VIENNA} Bentley for temperature -
(a) .004" cold clearance.
(b) .008" " "
(c) .012" " "

(2) Endurance run with three tappet clearances (where all valves similar) .004", .008", .012".

(3) Can we detect any difference between valves 1 &6 when water is at 95°C. outlet, if so -

(4) Is this improved by putting all the water round the back of the head.

(5) What happens to a valve when it is run off the seat .003"? Does it burn or stretch?

(6) Life of exhaust valve bouncing.
