RE LODGE SPARKING PLUGS.
Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}1/NJ16.10.19.

We agreed on the telephone yesterday that there was no course open to us other than to fit the cars to be shown at Olympia with the plugs which we are at present fitting as standard. These, as you knew, are not the "Lodge" and there can be no possible harm in informing the Lodge Co. of our views on this matter.

With regard to the remainder of your note we have tested a number of types of "Lodge" plugs but not with any success. Mr. Hives has, however, today discussed the matter of plugs with a "Lodge" representative with a view to further tests if they produce a plug which shews promise.
