X1110 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}2/KW. 23rd September,1935. The Borg & Beck Co.Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa, For the attention of Mr. Barker. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 20th re our order for eight 10" clutches. In view of your recommendation to try your new ventilated clutch, we should be glad if you would send us two of these for test. We suggest you send us 4 clutches like those we have already tried, and hold the remaining two pending a decision as to which type to use. Our tests on the clutches we have continue satisfactorily, and one such clutch will shortly be doing our usual 10,000 miles test in France. On the completion of that test and tests under severe traffic conditions, we will let you know the results obtained. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
