We attach herewith copy of a report PN.{Mr Northey} has sent to CJ. and BJ. reference PN{Mr Northey}/KW13.8.24. which has been forwarded to us by BJ. for consideration With reference to the discussion between BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} together with Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} and Thn.(in EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s absence) on this matter on Thursday afternoon, it was arranged that BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} should reply to Sales in regard to this matter dealing with BJ19/H13.8.24 and also Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}15/BM12.8.24 (16-LM Nicholls for Ubertalli). We understand this reply has been held up pending some tests which we have been making on the dynamometer, but it is hoped this report will be forwarded to BJ. on Monday. In the meantime Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has arranged with Sales for Mr. Hancock to go to Switzerland and Italy for making various tests in connection with overheating. Thn. | ||
