The supplier of the front axle in connection with the Bentley Car has just been on the 'phone and stated that they have done everything possible to expedite delivery of this axle but it will not now be ready until perhaps Friday the 17th but definitely Saturday the 18th inst., Whichever day it comes we will definitely send it over by road and as we note your holiday period commences on the 18th inst., we wondered, as it is only the swivel pin holes which you have to drill, if there was any possibility of you keeping a man behind to do this job and then we could collect this on Monday the 20th. We have all the other parts made up so that the axle could be completely assembled the following week and both axles could be delivered to you on Monday the 27th. Unfortunately our holiday commences on 1st August until the 10th and therefore if you cannot arrange this it looks as if you will not get the axle until the third week in August. Perhaps you will be good enough to look into this thoroughly and see what can be done. We are ever so sorry but the supplier of the axle is making a really first class job of it and they have done everything possible to expedite delivery.
