| Mr Barrington X290 18.7.12 X494 RE RIBBON VALVE SPRINGS With reference to the tests of the above we have run a set of these on the test jig for about 50 hours after which one of the rear valve springs broke. After a further 5 hours running one of the exhaust springs broke (( I attach herewith the broken exhaust valve spring) which you will notice has broken both at the top and the bottom.
