RE RIBBON VALVE SPRINGS

With reference to the tests of the above we have run a set of these on the test jig for about 50 hours after which one of the rear valve springs broke.
After a further 5 hours running one of the exhaust springs broke (( I attach herewith the broken exhaust valve spring) which you will notice has broken both at the top and the bottom.
We have now taken these springs off the jig in order to make room for the large taper ones.
