General Remarks and Conclusions:-

At the conclusion of the final inspection, the casing was cut up in order to examine the various cracks more closely. It was found that the casing was badly cracked round the driving gear bush, and it appears that these cracks originated during the pressing in of the bush and have enlarged and spread during the tests.
