To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X2677 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}1/KW.12.3.36. 5-B-IV. Fuel Pump Mounting. Before 5-B-IV commences 10,000 miles we wish to isolate the pump from the dashboard. Will you therefore please arrange for a rubber mounting to be made in readiness for fitting on the return of the car from the Coachbuilders. We suggest a durometer hardness of about 60, and that the shape of the mounting be similar to that of the wiper motor mounting as suggested for SpectreCodename for Phantom III.
