Dear Sirs,

We have received the samples of wire mesh which you have sent us, for which we thank you.

We think that the most suitable mesh for our purpose would be the ½" diagonal one, which has what may be termed crinkled wire, i.e. wire bent more than is absolutely necessary for interlacing purposes.

We should like you to send us three rectangular pieces of mesh of dimensions 28" x 22.625" (dimensions not to be exceeded) as follows :-

(1) 1st piece to be ½" diagonal mesh (i.e. wires at 45º to sides of piece) with crinkled wires exactly as per sample.
(2) 2nd piece as (1) but wire not crinkled - i.e. as flat as possible as in the sample of small mesh sent us.
(3) 3rd piece exactly as (1) except that mesh size is to be 5/16" square instead of ½".
