x8080 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 20/25 HP New Type Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E14.11.33 [strikethrough]Copy to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}[/strikethrough] Carburetter. Referring to our meeting yesterday there is one point which I think we all forgot to raise with you and that was the rather important point of petrol consumption. I should be glad to know whether you have made any comparative tests with the standard carburetter and, if so, what the result has been. If not, doubtless you will do so as soon as possible. From the point of view of production I imagine that it is still a good way off. You mentioned that it had not yet got its RR jacket, which presumably means that there is the design work to do. Any information which you can give me on this point would be of help because we are just about to print a new edition of the 20/25 catalogue, which of course not only describes the existing carburetter but also [strikethrough]makes[/strikethrough] gives some illustrations of it. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} PS. Since dictating the above Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} tells me that he did raise the point of petrol consumptiom with Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} who said that we should lose about a mile per gallon. Sg.{Arthur F.
