W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham Esq. 30th June, 1938.

a chat with you, and perhaps Mr. Devereux also, as to what sort of basis we ought to try and be on. Are we in effect to be competitive with the white metal bearing, because I am rather inclined to think that the policy on this job should be to go a little slower, because if we do have to change the specification afterwards, and you know we have already changed it two or three times since we have been handling it, and we have got too many out, we perhaps may not get the chance again so easily.

I therefore suggest, if it is convenient to you, I will come up next week and discuss the question of the price policy and all the rest of it.

You can, however, rest assured that they are all being looked after, and that we are pushing the job on, and that Milne will have his bearings very shortly. Bristol have already got theirs and a number of other firms' bearings have been cast and are awaiting machining.

Yours sincerely,

p. John Howlett
