Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}2/KW. 27th August, 1936. The Automotive Products Co.Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa. For the attention of Mr. Van Vestraut. Dear Sirs, Re Lockheed Jacks. We are returning to you the wooden model of the front jack bracket, which we were able to fit to the car after drawing two of the holes. This bracket is quite satisfactory as regards both the angle of the jack and the clearance on maximum bump. We hope therefore you will put in hand forgings as soon as possible. We are also sending to you one bottom buffer plate, which you can use as a template for drilling the jack brackets. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
