(29.10.41) The horns failed completely half way to Huddersfield and remained silent for the rest of the day. The carburation is extremely flat at all water temperatures and the engine runs on after switching off with the throttle in tick over position. The steering self centering torque is excessive and both my arms were aching at the end of the day. Apart from the above, the car behaved well. No petrol was added.
