Engine continuing to run after switching off.

with reference to the above, and confirming telephone conversation with you the other day - we have a complaint from America that the engine continues to run after switching off whenever the water exceeds 75°C.

We have replied to the effect that the trouble is either due to faulty earthing of the magneto, or some self ignition effect.

In the meantime, you promised to investigate this matter, so that some further information could be sent to America as soon as possible.

We shall be glad to have this further information with the least possible delay.
