Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letter of the 27th and regret we were unable to speak to you on the telephone this morning.
In your absence Mr. Robotham kindly promised to advise you that we are quite agreeable to your retaining the two experimental tyres until you had been able to complete your tests on wet roads, and if the tyres have not already been despatched would you please retain them to this end.
Yours faithfully,
