Re: Bonnets - B.5. B.50 and Wraith 80.

Now that we have gone to a design of bonnet with a rear support on the body only, the bonnet no longer acts as a jig for positioning the height at which the body should be mounted at the scuttle.

On 9.B.5. the body is .660 high and the radiator top .300 low, the nett result being a very sloping top hinge which is ugly.

We would be very glad if you could set up the radiator so that the bonnet eye is within ± .030 relative to the level top of frame, and so pack the eye of the bonnet on the dash that it too is within those limits.

We are telling Messrs. Park Ward & Co. that they should use these two eyes as a basis for a jig which will fix for them the scuttle height, for mounting purposes.
