"Mr Wormald informed the Committee that the castings for this type of springing had been delivered that morning. With respect to the Hydraulic Shock Absorbers which it was proposed to test with this springing, Mr Spinney had not yet designed the longer lever necessary to give the increased deflection. He believed that it was impracticable, owing to such a lever fouling the frame. He would, however, go into the matter shortly and report to the Committee. X235- | ||
