Long Island City, Jan 18th. 1921. EWC/C 18.1.21. To. Mr. Belnap. from Mr. Caswell. X.3916 - RE AMERICAN BOSCH MAGNETOS. We have not been able to trace the chasses to which the American Bosch magnetos were fitted during 1914 and 15. I believe about six cars were so fitted, and as they have been in use six years it is safe to assume a mileage of between fifty or sixty thousand miles for each. We have had no complaints from these and as far as their general operation and reliability is concerned, there is very little to chose between the American and the German Bosch machines, both being, in my opinion, superior to the Watford.
