H.R. 235A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26-4-17.) Bm. 2/156/13. ORIGINAL To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} & PH. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c.c. to CJ. & HJ. R3/M28.7.22. RE. FUEL. Y53 / X1555 For demonstration purposes we recommend you to use or try the National Benzole Co's mixture which we believe is half benzole, and half petrol. In my limited experience I have this to be excellent for starting, slow running, absence of detonation, and increased power. Naturally it may have some disadvantages such as the presence of sulphur corrosion. I am asking the Works to examine it, and if you cannot get a full supply I think one can of this, and one can of petrol, say Shell No.1, would give very good excellent results.
