Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives,
ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
Derby,
England.

Dear Hives,

Many thanks for yours, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG18.8.28 referring to the queries I raised re the 20HP car which you sent to Mr. Royce.

We find there is one very important point on which you omitted to give us your opinion, i.e., as regards power, acceleration, and speed compared with Buick or Chrysler, which you recently tried (question D).

As regards the last question (E) which I raised, I thought there might possibly be an improvement in riding and particularly on turning corners, due to the lower centre of gravity of the car which you sent to Mr. Royce. I should be glad to hear whether you find any apparent improvement in this respect.

Yours sincerely,
Thos. Nadin.
